Blaze(r) of Glory!

Well my sister and I had planned to have a quiet weekend and go to watch Anchorman 2... This plan ended up going to pots! We then decided to go for casual drinks in the Northern Quarter in Manchester... I'm not so good with casual drinks, once I'm out I always want to stay out! Anyway I've been paying for it today, was a good night though!

I love a good blazer, I recently counted how many I actually own (yes I was very bored) and found that I have ten... Whilst it's still chilly I'll definitely be making good use of them to throw over any evening attire. This blazer is a H&M one and has a boyish charm to it - I love it. I styled it with my high waisted skinny jeans from my work, Missbehaver, which are another current wardrobe favourite of mine at the moment due to the chilly weather. You can't see the top very clearly in the picture above but it's a cream crop top also from Missbehaver. I kept my clothing simple so I could wear a statement necklace from Zara, bought in the sale for the bargainous price of £12.99! 

I also wanted to take a picture of my sister Kate's outfit but she wouldn't let me! She wore a really cute ditsy pinafore dress from Urban Outfitters over a white roll sleeve tee and a beaded necklace from H&M. 

New Year!

What another great New Years Eve had! I definitely entered 2014 a little on the drunk side though... 

I had been saving my silk dress bought for a tenner on Ebay (brand new with tags and originally from Warehouse) for a special occasion and what could be a better occasion than celebrating the New Year and also celebrating a good friend's engagement (see above)!!
I teamed the dress with some gold peep toe shoes and a charity shop cream bag. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of the back of the dress which actually features intricate woven detailing as well as a cheeky little bit of bare back to show off, ah well, guess I'll just have to wear it again soon eh?! xxx
