It's been a pretty busy August so far! I recently got back from Rhodes, which has to be one of the prettiest places I've ever visited!
I stayed for almost two weeks in a town called Pefkos, which is pretty popular for us Brits, in particularly Southerners! I actually ended up doing some stuff I never thought I'd do - jumping off a cliff into a pool in the middle of the night (don't worry it's all safe), singing in karaoke (not very well might I add), free falling on a scary slide and finally getting my perfect black leather satchel at a bargain price of 35 euros!
We ended up making a lot of friends whilst there too, thus making the holiday that more enjoyable (if that's even possible), we plan to go back at the end of September after my Birthday so now I can't wait!
If you haven't ever been to Rhodes, I'd highly recommend it, I'd even love to live there one day...
Anyway here is my holiday in outfits!

This has to be one of my all time favourite dresses as it's so easy to wear. By easy I mean that it doesn't really need accessorising (I just chose to as it felt a shame not to) because the floral print is quite loud. It has gorgeous cut out side panels which make it a pretty unique dress!

These pictures are from the second day when we decided to walk into the next town, Lindos, (hence my nike running trainers) as we'd done some research beforehand and it had said it wasn't too far. It wasn't a bad walk as we saw some sights, but I wouldn't recommend it to those who are after a more relaxing break as it did get pretty hot so we had a quick beer stop off (above).

Though I'm not keen on the photos of me in this dress, I absolutely adore this dress from Missbehaver, so much so that I have it in another colour! The bodycon shape flatters your figure and the backless detail gives it an interesting twist from the traditional bodycon. It looks best when dressed quite minimalistic.

Please don't take me seriously here, I know I look like PSY in those glasses! Unfortunately we didn't take anymore photos this evening as it was a quiz night so we got stuck into that. I will be taking this kimono away with me again though as it is so pretty and cool (I have a thing for kimonos at the moment, see below).

I know I look rather rough here (understatement?) so hopefully my face/hair doesn't detract away from the outfit! This was on the quiz night at a bar called Oasis Bar. A really good night, even if we didn't win :(

The Glass bottom boat trip is definitely a big must when staying in Pefkos. Not only do you get to go to some pretty places and go for a swim in the clear sea but you also get the added extra of the entertaining boat driver, who made it a fantastic trip!

I had such a good day visiting the medieval Rhodes Old Town. It was definitely one of the best excursions going on the Island. However, the only downfall is that because there is so much to do there you don't have enough time. Our tour guide recommended the Old Town where Tom and I ventured the market stalls and attempted some bartering! The tour guide also warned us of things to look out for in the Old Town such as restaurants tricking you into thinking you're buying a normal glass of beer when instead it turns out to be the same size as a welly, we were glad we were warned about this as it was quite funny seeing the shock on people's faces in the town as they were served this huge drink!

I had to add these photos in. They sum up how random this evening actually turned out to be! Tom and I just thought we were going for a nice quiet meal in Pefkos with a few drinks and a music quiz after. At the quiz we teamed up with some fellow Northerners, who were absolutely hilarious, and ended up going on a big bar crawl. We finished the night at a bar called Eclipse, where as you can see it features a large pool and an even larger cliff to dive off - it is monitored however, so they wouldn't let you jump off it if you weren't in a great state! The pictures above are of me jumping in for the first time!

It's true about saving the best till last - I wish I knew where this dress was from but unfortunately I don't! I bought it from a charity shop near to me and it was one of my most absolute favourite purchases. On the hanger it looks unflattering, shapeless and quite dull! However, when it's on it completely transforms you! The backless detail, embroidery and halterneck ties made it a sophisticated and somewhat elegant dress to wear, and perfect for a last night meal at a posh restaurant!
I have missed out quite a lot of nights/outfits here due to my camera battery running out and relying on Tom's iPhone to do all the work, but not to worry - I'll just take them the next time we go :)
Thanks for reading about our holiday - it really was the best time ever!
