OOTD(s): London Baby!

I recently visited London, having done all the typical sightseeing things on previous visits this time I decided to visit some of the cool shopping places recommended... I would love to have gone to LFW but I was on a visit with my boyfriend and I don't think he'd have been able to look at clothes for THAT long ha ha! I will definitely going to it in September however!

Here's my outfit from the Friday night out on London town, did mainly just see the tube stops as we got lost, but nevermind!

Outfit:

Leather Jacket: ASOS
Dress: Urban Outfitters
Satchel: Marks and Spencer
Cross Necklace: Topshop
Old faithful black boots: Next

My Saturday daytime outfit

Outfit:

Hat: H&M
Cropped Jumper: H&M
Lace Shirt Dress: Charity Shop
Under Skirt: H&M
Black Bag: Topshop
Ribbon: Market
Lace Socks: Ebay
Old faithful boots: Next
On the Saturday we got up bright and early for a visit to the Abbey Road Studios (and did the stereotypical crossing pose to match). Abbey Road has to be one of my most favourite Beatles albums ever, and it does actually have two of my all time favourite songs on too, Here Comes the Sun and Something - written by my favourite Beatle, George Harrison (I'll stop using the word "favourite" now).

After here we paid a quick visit to the Museum of Natural History, only to discover it was extremely busy, then we went straight to Notting Hill's Portobello Markets. After a good look around and a beer stop we then went onto Camden (at this point I had switched footwear for comfort reasons, into my black brogues). I am a huge fan of Camden Market, and go there everytime I visit London, my next aim for when I go is to get a tattoo or piercing!

Saturday Evening Outfit (I don't recall my arms being a different shade to my face at the time :s)

Outfit:

Dress: Charity Shop
Necklace: Boots
Bracelet Cuff: Topshop
Old faithful boots: Next

And finally on the Sunday we visited Brick Lane, which took ages to get to. I have to say also, I was a bit disappointed with it. I usually find some good secondhand bargains around where I live so I was expecting there to be loads more here at reasonable prices, but it did seem a little to me like they'd overused the phrase "vintage" to the point where it got mundane... It is still a quirky place and has a very lively atmosphere (and some delicious smelling food stalls). I managed to pick up some bargains from a shop that was having a clearance and had reduced everything to ten pounds. I got a pretty silky dress and some knitted vests, which I will be wearing soon, so watch this space!

With some more flying visits around London including Oxford Street, Westminster etc it was time to go home and get back to reality. I really would love to go again soon, it is such a vibrant city full of life.

Here's my outfit from Sunday, note that flat boots were dug out due to painful feet!

OOTD: Denim days

Outfit:

Dip Dye Sweater: Missbehaver
Vintage Denim Shirt (stolen from my Dad): Wrangler
Denim Mini Skirt: Calvin Klein
Denim Rucksack: Topshop
Boots: Next

I haven't been posting on here for a while due to some unforeseen personal circumstances, but thought I would catch up now with all the outfits. This one was taken a week and a half ago just before I went to get my roots done (about time!). It was a very casual look, mainly focusing on the dip dye sweater - it's to dye for (ha ha)! It's the perfect daytime outfit for shopping/going for coffee etc and the boots are the comfiest!

Spot the difference! OOTD

Outfit

Coat: Mango
Tea Dress (worn as a skirt): ASOS
Slouch Jumper: Missbehaver
Boots: Next
Necklace: Boots (yes, they do jewellery!)

This picture was put together in a rush so please excuse the bad Photoshop attempt here haha! As you may have guessed I love wearing jumpers over dresses, I always feel a bit overdressed when wearing a dress for work, so it makes the look more casual when throwing a jumper over the top!
This jumper is one of my most favourites ever, you can't see the colour too great here but it is blend of two colours - wine and deep blue. It goes with nearly everything in my wardrobe(s) too!
The boots are so comfy as well considering the heel is four inches and they really lengthen your legs if, like me, you're quite small in height!
I was also getting a bit bored of my side fringe so I decided to attempt a full fringe, not sure if it suits or just looks silly though?

My new digital camera has finally arrived so the quality of photos should finally be a lot better, watch this space...

OOTD

Outfit

Leather Jacket: ASOS
Geometric Print Dress: Missbehaver
Leather Boots: Topshop
Necklace: New Look

This was actually taken on Saturday but it was taken on another phone so I have only just received the photo - my new camera should be coming soon though so no more of this nonsense!
This dress is actually very comfortable and flattering on. The print makes it a very unique style and it looks great dressed with black boots, a jacket and tights.
I also have to point out that the Topshop boots are brand new, I've had my eye on them for ages but was very hesitant due to the price but eventually I gave in and bought them. I haven't regretted it. I also like how the leaves/plants in the background deceptively make it look like it could be warmish outside. Alas, it was not.

Missbehaver Promo Video

OOTD: Cool for cats

Outfit
Cardigan: Topshop
Lace Top: Matalan
Leopard Print Shorts: Missbehaver.com
Suede Wedges: Office
Necklace: Retro Rehab

Bleurgh this photo really does make me cringe, however it was taken at 9 a.m. so that's my excuse! And my roots will be getting retouched this weekend.

I was going to sleep last night and my mind started to wander off to it's favourite subject ever; clothes. So I was thinking about these shorts and how to dress them with something lighter on the top, I usually opt for black jumpers/tees etc. I decided that I'd try this top out with them and fortunately for me, it worked. The cardigan thrown over just gives the outfit a dash of colour but nothing too heavy.
The camera situation is also set to improve this week as I finally have ordered a new digital camera, a pretty cool one at that too! Still looking for the right SLR to purchase however...

Missbehaver Photoshoot 30/01

Once again it is that time where I get to have lots of fun creating different looks, styles and outfits for Missbehaver.com

This photoshoot mainly consisted of monochrome, neons, cable knits and even the odd ditsy girly print.

As per usual, here are a selection of outfits I like best from the photoshoot

I have always been a big fan of the beatnik trend, whether it be in the form of skirts, dresses or leggings, I don't care. I love the simplicity and maturity a black and white outfit can create.
I particularly love the two outfits above as I am a big fan of stripes and checks. The March issue of Vogue magazine also highlights this sixties trend making a bold return this season, much to my delight!

Here I decided to put these pretty floral cable knit jumpers in summery style ensembles. Knitwear is always very versatile so these jumpers would look pretty much great with anything. And even though it's still cold outside I think there's a little summery person in everyone waiting to get out.

Here are just a couple of the tie dye designs Missbehaver have in at the moment. I absolutely adore the shorts as well. The crop is also making a bold comeback this season. I suspect many more are to come with a variety of different designs and styles, ready to make that statement they deserve.
I love the fierce gothicky look the tie dye and faux leather skirt create (above) and the soft feminine down-to-earth style of the tie dye shorts in the photo below.

We can also make another warm welcome to the peplum, it's here to stay! The lace and neon tones in these tops really give it that summery and girly look.

These sheer asymmetric tops are going to be huge this season without a doubt. They add sophistication to any outfit and ooze glamour for that classy night out. I personally love the look above with the yellow/gold bodycon skirt. It's on my wishlist.

Finally we come to the girly floral and ditsy print skirts. I went for quite soft, delicate styles here opting for lighter coloured tops to team with the skirts. I love how vintage/retro the daisy print skirt is. Another one to add to my wishlist!

Lacy Days: OOTD

Outfit:

Dress (worn as a skirt): Matalan (Children's section haha)
Jumper: H&M
Leather Jacket: ASOS
Suede Wedge Boots: Office
Necklace: Topshop
Leather Backpack: Purchased on holiday in Greece, it's one of a kind!

As the weather has improved and the air feels a little warmer I felt like dressing up a bit more today, and because it's Friday after all. As you may know I am a big fan of layering things up, so I decided to layer this dress and wear it as a skirt. I threw a jumper over the top and accessorised with a belt and necklace. I'd been intending to try out this dress for ages as it's so pretty, so voila!
The photograph was taken on my Blackberry so the quality and lighting are very poor, will be investing in a top notch camera soon hopefully!
