Embracing the 90's grunge

Outfit

Animal Print Vest: Missbehaver.com
Levi's Shorts: Ryan Vintage (Manchester's Northern Quarter)
Belt: H&M
Boots: Urban Outfitters

A look that’s really got everybody’s heads turning and pulses racing this year would have to be the 90’s grunge look. Think Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Hole etc…
A mix of denims, leathers, scruffy band t-shirts and general messiness makes for a good Courtney Love esque style.
The best thing about the grunge trend is that it’s so easy to pull off that just-tumbled-out-of-bed-look.  Throw on some denim shorts, a casual t-shirt, leather jacket (it doesn’t have to be real if you’re a friend to the animals) mess your hair up, pop on your doc martens and you’re good to go.
Anyone can pull off the grunge look so get stocking up on those nineties necessities and layer up your own look.

Introduction

Hi,

I'm Fiona Liberty Holland and this is my very first blog post on here...

I love fashion and in particularly love styling and coordinating outfits together. I do this for a living; I am a Fashion Stylist and style photo shoots for several different online retailers, the most prominant one being Missbehaver.com, as well as this I do a bit of Freelance Styling for Models' Portolios, putting together outfits based on certain themes.

I get my fashion inspiration from almost everywhere. This includes designers, films, people in the street and even music and songs.

Other things that inspire me are people who don't care what others think and aren't afraid to stand out, charity shops and decades that may have seemed insignificant at the time but later turned out to be influential on the fashion of today.

This blog will also have some articles within - after all it would be a waste of a Journalism degree to give up writing!

I guess that is all for now - here is my blog, enjoy!
